Portia has a beautiful head, tight dense uniform coverage, with a wonderful disposition. Silver Spring Alpaca’s Orlando
DOB: October 19, 2003
1/2 Peruvian Male
Type/Color: Huacaya/Dark Fawn
Sire: El R Antonio
Dam: PPPeruvian Rosemary
Come see Orlando and you will see why we love matching Rosemary and El R Antonio. Orlando’s fiber shows the same heavy density as his sire El R Antonio, who took a ribbon in the Get of Sire class at the 2003 AlpacaFest West show. At 6 months of age and one of the youngest entrants in his class, Orlando took a ribbon at the 2004 Monterey Pronk Halter show. As an added bonus, you will not find a sweeter disposition in an alpaca than you will find in Orlando! He took another 3rd at the 2005 AlpacaFest West show.

 K2’s IL Re
DOB: November 22, 2004
Full Peruvian Male
Type/Color: Huacaya/Med. Fawn
Sire: NWA K2
Dam: Sil Spr Portia
Matching superior Studmaster bloodlines to our 2003 IOA ribbon winner really pays off! IL Re shows a lot of promise even at this early age. We named him after one of our favorite wines from a local winery in town, meaning the “The King” in Italian. We could not be more pleased with the results of this breeding. As a juvenile, he won fawn color championship at the 2005 AlpacaFest West Halter show. Watching Jude Anderson present his banner and say, "Here is an alpaca with the total package," is a wonderful validation of our breeding program.

Full Chilean Male
Type/Color: Huacaya/Maroon
Sire: Craftsman Touch Ravi Divine
Dam: Ezme
Silver Spring continues the Patagonia line with the addition of Valentino to our ranch from New Hampshire. He has the deep red, crimson maroon color you rarely see on an alpaca. Sired by Ravi Divine, a Shakelton son, Valentino brings to central coast the softest handle and distinctive look the Patagonian alpacas are well known for. We can’t wait to show him off next year.
